This models is based around the gradual release of responsibility from the teacher to the student. Clear modelling builds confidence, reduces anxiety and supports independent learners.
👩🏫 I do: Using clear success criteria, model what success looks like to your students.
👨👨👧👦 We do: Complete some steps of the learning having students complete the rest. Gradually fade out the steps you do till students can complete it all.
💪 You do: Students complete all steps themselves. This is where differentiation fits in.
